OCTOBER!!!

People fall in love in October 
I failed in October 
I opted for love while all I need was me 
I opted for hope while reality was escaping me
I opted for flowers while I needed thrones to ambush me 
I opted for a love story while my prince was killing me
I opted for one last light while I was the darkness all along 
So when someone says they were falling in love in October I envy them because all I did in October was failing in love!!!

Invisible threads, crimson and thin, Bind two souls where time begins. Across the miles, through space unseen, An ancient cord, forever keen. The theory I imagine only a myth, Drifting like a shadow on a cliff. It binds us softly, soul to soul, Beyond our touch, beyond our control. The hope I have seen maybe crushed, But for you I might melt on your brush . I always thought my red string lost, A faded dream, a love’s small cost.
